PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:

Improve the negotiating performance by helping participants to:

  • understand the structure underlying all negotiations
    identify the appropriate skills used for negotiations
    practice these skills in a constructive learning environment

TARGET GROUP:

  • Experienced negotiators,
  • Top- and middle-level managers,
  • Politician and statesmen,
  • Experts in making deals, discussing contract terms

TOPICS COVERED:

  • Understand the '8 Steps' (Preparation, Argue, Signals, Proposal, Repackage, Bargain, Closing, Agreement) and how to use them to manage the negotiation process
  • Use and handle various negotiation tactics
  • Use the skills of team negotiating
  • Concessions and their assessment, priority analysis for WIN / WIN deals
  • Handling the negotiation deadlock
